Rachel Beatty Riedl served as the Einaudi Center's director from 2019 to 2023. She is a professor in the Department of Government (College of Arts and Sciences) and Cornell Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy. 

Beginning in July 2024, she will lead the new Center on Global Democracy in the Brooks School.
